Summary of Job Scope:
The therapist/trainer is responsible for the performance of all physical assessment tests administered to patients. And is responsible for all physically demanding tests conducted by patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of medical centre services (body treatments, massages, EWOT therapy) in a safe, empathic and comfortable manner
- Use complementary aids, such as sand bath, body massage, EWOT therapy in order to promote clients’ recovery, relaxation and well-being Guide patients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them
- Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body and adjust technique to meet their needs
- Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions
- Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
- Keep documentation and maintain patients’ files
- Maintain the cleanliness of the therapy rooms
- Acknowledge and respond to relevant patients queries, needs and expectations
- Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
- Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
- Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by the nurse manager
Key qualifications required and preferred background
- Good customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in all situations
- Possess physical strength and dexterity
- Good command of English
- Able to converse in simple Mandarin will be an advantage
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
